Almost a New Year!!

I am off to spend a wonderful weekend with D. I am so thankful for this time together. It seems as if we are always running somewhere, so I am looking forward to not doing much the remainder of the weekend. It will be nice to just "be" this weekend. :)

We are off to the city tonight, and I am hoping to take some great pics with my new camera. Hopefully, the city will be less crowded than the last few weeks.

Thirteen Things I am really excited about! D and I are getting married 5 months from today! Have been on vacation since Friday, and I do not go back to work for another week! Got some fabulous Chanukah presents - see #'s 10 and 11 Made some terrific cake balls The weather has been absolutely beautiful. (but I am secretly hoping for a light dusting of snow Spending time with D and our families for the long weekend Going shopping tomorrow (still have to find a gift for D) Lost another pound at WW - brings me to total of 22 pounds! Losing another 22 lbs. to achieve my goal! My NEW Rebel! (thanks D! - love you!) My NEW Cricut! (thanks Mrs. B) Spending New Years with D Planning our honeymoon!

2 Peas Challenge

Challenge: Is there anyone on your christmas list this year, that's really hard to buy for??? Why???

This challenge is so fitting, as I have 3 people that are really hard to buy for. First is my mom. I cannot count the times that I have shopped for her, only to come home with nothing. D and I shopped last year for both the holidays, and her birthday, and came home empty handed. She's picky, I know that, but it makes for a not so great holiday/birthday shopping experience. I prefer not to give her GC's, as I am a present girl. Next is my sister. She has everything, and all throughout the year, she shops. So, come the holidays, it is practically impossible to buy her anything. I normally do a big ticket item for her, but with the wedding approaching, I cannot this year. I think the hardest person to buy for is D. He is such a generous and giving person, but never wants anything for himself. I have looked and looked (and looked), and I cannot find anything fitting for him. Sure, I could buy clothes and such, but he deserves SO much more! He gave me my present the other day, and I am beyond elated. When the pics are uploaded, I wil share them here. I did find something yesterday that I know he would LOVE, but after reading the many online reviews, I chose not to purchase it.

Great Day!

Happy Saturday!!!

I am just back from WW, where I lost .6, for a grand total of 20.8 lbs. (woo hoo!) I have been losing very slowly, and would have hoped to hit the 30 lb. mark by now. But, losing is better than gaining, so today is a good day. (and I had a Dunkaccino and 2 munchkins to celebrate!)

D is coming over tonight....we will do a little shopping, have dinner, and maybe a movie. I really want to see Happy Feet. But, we only have limited time, so maybe next weekend. I am so excited to see him. The weeks go by so slow, and the weekends, when we are together, go so quick. I am just happy to spend time with him. Only 5 months (and a few days) until we are Mr. & Mrs. I know it will be here before we know it. Next weekend, we are going to Rockefeller Center. I cannot wait to see the tree, and take lots of pics. The city is so beautiful this time of year. I do not think there is anything else like it. :)

Well, short post today. Lots of cleaning and laundry to do. Have a wonderful weekend...I know I will!

Thirteen Random things about ME! 1. My day is not complete unless I talk to D. (D if you are reading this...I LOVE YOU more than anything!!) 2. I can write with both hands simultaneously (in opposite directions) 3. I am obsessed with numbers. I count everything, and keep track of most things 4. I have always named my cars. (and refer to them by name daily) 5. Las Vegas is one of my favorite places in the world. I hope to live there one day 6. I collect Garfield (the cat) - I have been a collector since I was 4 7. Most nights, I fall asleep with my glasses on. (i am blind without them) 8. On most occassions, I wear black. I rarely wear anything else. (I'm working on changing that) 9. I have a very big scrap/stamp supply, but haven't touched any supplies in a long time 10. I love the number 13 11. I love to buy $5 scratch off lottery tickets 12. I have been wearing the same perfume for the last 23 years 13. I love the movie Goodfellas...I have watched it too many times to count
