One of the HAPPIEST days!!!

Yesterday, while I was surfing my favorite websites, I saw the most fabulous thing!! The photos that Tara Whitney took of us in NYC, were posted on her website! www.tarawhitney.com

Never in a million years did I ever expect to see them there. I love them , and I cannot wait until they are hanging on our walls. She is amazing, and we cannot wait to do another shoot with her.

With the wedding being so close, we wanted to have a few for our video slide show. Tara's timing was perfect, and now our guests will get to see them too! Feel free to take a look!!

Photo Shoot with Tara Whitney!!!

Last year, while reading Tara's blog, I saw that she was taking requests for where she would be traveling to this year. I sent her an e-mail, and crossed my fingers. You see, when D and I got engaged, we never got to take photos. We wanted to, but never had the chance. Yesterday, we got the chance. (see, crossing your fingers does work)

Tara contacted me soon after writing to her, and once she said NYC was option, I wanted it! We had planned to do the shoot in Central Park. I figured it was a terrific background. [right?] However, what I didn't know was that the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure was going on at the same time. So, between Saturday evening, and Sunday morning, Tara and I spoke about 4-5 times, and after driving around for 1 hour and 1/2 [looking for parking], we finally met her!!!!

She was phenomenal....we had so much fun....we were silly....we were serious, and I am so amazed at what she can capture. We really felt very fortunate to have her photograph us.

I cannot wait to see the pics.....Yesterday was really one of the best days of my life! Thanks so much Tara!!

I'm BACK!!

It has been far too long since I last blogged. Life has taken me in so many different directions lately, and today, I have decided to start again.

Wedding plans are going GREAT! In less than two months, I will be D's wife. I love how that sounds. (invitations go postal THIS weekend!!!) We still have little things to finalize, but all in all, the BIG stuff is done. We are going to my friends wedding this weekend, and I am looking forward to dancing with my man. :) I am starting to pack up things so that when we make the "move", I will be ready. I cannot believe how much stuff I have. I have to pack up two packages for my SS's, and get those in the mail by this weekend.

Have a doctors appt. today, and little errands to run.

Do you have a Bind it All?

I am so excited!!! I finally ordered my BIA. I have wanted one since they were introduced, but couldn't bring myself to buy one. Then, a great seller from the Cricut MB had one for sale, at a GREAT PRICE, so I definitely could not pass it up. I bought covers, journal pages, and owires. I cannot wait to make my own books. D's birthday is right around the corner, so, he doesn't know it yet, but he's getting one. :)

Since the announcement of Elsie Flannigan's new line, Love, Elsie, I have been waiting patiently for it to arrive. Low and behold, over the last few days, it has begun to arrive in online and LSS. Since I do not have a LSS nearby, other than J's M's, or AC Moore, I have had to purchase it online. Oh boy! did I!! I believe I bought the whole line, minus two items that were out of stock. I am expecting it tomorrow, and I cannot wait to see it in person. For my fiance's album, I think it's going to be perfect.

Tomorrow cannot come soon enough.

Guess what I bought today??

Since December, I have been wanting a Wii. I know that I probably don't need it, but I really wanted it. So, I began calling all over (TRU, Best Buy, Walmart...you get the picture) and no one had them in stock. After awhile, I simply gave up. Well, today, while in Walmart, I asked if they had any in stock. The usual answer is "no", or "we sold the last one an hour ago". However, today was different....the salesgirl said YES!!!!!!!!!

So, I am officially a Wii owner! and I love it!

Joined a new MB!!

While searching for the new Love, Elsie line tonight, I came across a great MB, TallyScrapper
What a great board! Contests, monthly DT members, and great shopping. I bought a lot of Elsie's line last night, but they did sell out quickly on some of her stuff.

I have the BEST SS in the world!!!

Earlier in the year, I joined a SS group on the Cricut MB. Never could I have imagined that I would have gotten the BEST SS ever!! People were paired up, and the requirement is to send a gift each month. The girl that I send to has no idea as to who I am. The girl who sends to me is still a mystery to me. (I like it that way...but, I do know that she lives in Kansas) I knew something was arriving today, as she sent me a message letting me know.

This is what she sent me....aren't they beautiful?


Thank you so much for thinking of me....I cannot wait to find out who are you. I am really hoping that we become lifelong friends. :)

Let's talk hygiene for just a moment.
What personal care products do you use, on a daily basis, that you just couldn't live without?
Things like, skin cleansers, soaps, body lotions.. etc ...

On a daily basis, I use a lot of different products. So, let's start at the beginning.

In the morning, I use Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleanser. I love this stuff.
Then, I use this. Aveeno Positively Ageless Moisturizer.
In the shower, I am a LUSH junkie. I use the following almost everyday.

Godiva solid shampoo. I love the way it smellsThen, I use a combination of the following products: The Olive Branch Shower and Flying Fox Shower gels. (the olive branch leaves your body feeling so soft, really no need to moisturize)


Then I use Honey I was the kids soap. (and I use the honey comb on top as a loofah!) It smells amazing!


After the shower, I use Dream Cream.


Then, I use Silky Underwear. Perfect powder, and leaves your body feeling silky all over.


That's what I use daily. I do change my shampoo every few days, but normally, I use my Lush stash.

Happy Mothers Day!!

Last night, my sister and I took our mom to the Melting Pot for dinner. We had so much fun, as well as tons of laughs. For years, I have been trying to get her to go, and yesterday, she finally agreed. We had an amazing meal, and most importantly, we were together. Next Mothers Day, I will be married, and no longer living here, so it was important to me to make this year EXTRA special. Since we went out last night, I am bbq'ing today....lamb chops, chicken burgers, hamburgers, hotdogs, and lots of sides.

Wishing all of the Mom's out there a very Happy Mother's Day....enjoy today, you deserve it.

I am so excited!!! Not only did my Mickey Cricut carts arrive, but this did too!!! Ruban Rouge was having a big sale last week. I am beyond thrilled. I have been looking for the 7 Gypsies stamps for awhile, and I really wanted the BG Magnetic Precision Mat. I will definitely be placing another order with them. The included the cutest pen and cupholder too. Off to go play!

2 Peas Challenge

Challenge: Let's talk Target, the store... what are some of your fave items for sale at your local Target these days??

I only go to Target with D. (otherwise, I could spend a small fortune there) Usually, we are running in for shampoo, soap, shaving cream, tp, and D's favorite....Haagen Daz light ice cream. His Target has a much larger scrapping aisle then mine do. But, by the time we normally get to the store, there is not too much left. I did come across a new find last week. In the ice cream aisle, they have their own mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches. They were on sale for $1.64 a package. They taste really good!! I did see some really nice things for the summer, but they were regular price. I figure in the coming weeks, they will go on sale. But, a sale in T means trouble for me...can't just go in there and buy one thing!! :)

So sweet...

WOW!!! My SS sent me ALL of this today!! Papers, portable trimmer, cards, brads, eyelets, ribbon/fibers, stamps and LOADS of candy!! She is fabulous!!

Loving my new kit!

I am so excited! I decided to sub to the Scrap-Room! I have been wanting to sub for awhile, and while surfing the site the other day, I decided to join.

I enjoy getting a little of this, and a little of that. This way, I can see (and use) different lines. Not having a LSS nearby, makes this kit perfect for me. I am still loving my kits from MyFavoriteMemories! Shari puts together wonderful kits each month. Things that I have heard of, and certainly cannot find locally. I cannot wait to see Aprils' kit.
